Back Pain? Back Care! Back Happy! The Dorn Method: Back Pain? Back Care! Back Happy!

Back pain!Non-manipulative treatment as joints and vertebrae slip back to their right and natural position through self determined movements of the patient.

Treatment can kick starts the body’s own healing process - so it is not about the practitioner fixing the problem but the body starting to readjust. Perfect prevention for back problems irrespective of age.

A gentle, simple and effective treatment with the alignment, for example, of just a single vertebra and the balancing of the leg length and you should get relief from back, neck pain or headaches and related discomforts.

Movement is a fundamental element in the treatment. All corrections happen dynamically; the patient is swinging either a leg, arm or moving their head, depending on the area the therapist is working on. The movement distracts the muscles so they can't resist the correction.

By aligning the structural body often muscle tension is released as well as muscles moving into their correct & relaxed position. For example, shoulder muscles can be relieved by aligning the upper or lower cervical spine. Lower back pain or sciatic pain can be relieved by balancing a leg discrepancy.

Finding tender points in the body, without you even knowing you had them, and working on them will potentially speed the healing process, which is why so few treatments are needed.

A gentle spinal and joint treatment to work with back problems, joint problems, organ problems and headaches caused by a wrongly placed vertebra and/or a different leg length.

Other than chiropractic and osteopathic adjustments ‘The Dorn Method does not use sudden movements but works with constant movement of the client which means that the client is vital part of the treatment and feels more responsible in their own aftercare, therefore being more diligent with the exercises. That again helps to speed up the healing process.

Suitable for chronic pain conditions as it takes a different approach to the body than most other therapies.
